The 338C Abbitz is a 6-inch Differential Pressure Indicator used to measure liquid flow through pipelines, liquid levels within pressurized vessels, or differential pressure across primary devices such as orifice plates, venturi tubes, or flow tubes. In flow measurement applications, the 338C Abbitz is connected to the high- and low-pressure sides of a primary differential pressure element installed in the process run. In liquid level applications, the instrument monitors changes in hydrostatic pressure caused by variations in liquid height.

Weatherproof Abbitz® Model 338C Differential Pressure Indicators are designed for industrial service. The 338C features a rugged case-enclosed indicator with a 6-inch dial and a pointer that traverses a nominal 270-degree arc. The indicator movement incorporates a micrometer screw for span adjustment. Zero adjustment is accomplished by slipping the pointer on the hub without removing the pointer or scale plate. Linearity adjustments are accessible after removal of the scale plate. The 338C Abbitz is actuated by a Model 224 Differential Pressure Unit (DPU).
